Narrative M101

Daniel Chau works with ceramics through a practice of throwing, trimming, carving and colouring. Through repeated making, he explores how form develops and how the marks of the process accumulate. In Narrative, each piece records the time and experience of its making.

About Daniel Chau 趙汝誠
Daniel Chau is a ceramic artist whose practice centres on sculpted porcelain vessels. He graduated from the ceramics programme jointly presented by RMIT University and Hong Kong Art School in 2007. Through throwing, erasing and carving, he explores patterns, memory and gradual transformation. His work has been exhibited in Hong Kong and internationally.
